Cell Manufacturing facilities of AZUR SPACE are placed in a modern clean room fab with a production area of 4 500 m². Due to specific structure and design of multi-junctions solar cells, our photolithography-based technology processes are more similar to the ones of the optoelectronic industry than conventional silicon photovoltaic for e.g. rooftop PV applications.

Their features such as optimal utilisation of the expensive semiconductor material, very fine (up to few microns) front contact grid for minimal shadowing, specific contact alloy for reducing resistive losses and highly efficient broadband anti-reflective coating enable best cell performance at a competitive price.
